Freedom Riders & Democracy Now

Democracy Now is a Radio station out of the United States. Have a look at the website and try and determine what its purpose is. Look at the video below that relates directly to our current discussions on civil rights. What perspective is taken? What does this say about media biases in the United States? What could Democracy Now be a reaction to?
